2º edition of the Basque Country–Bordeaux Quantum Algorithms Meeting

March 25, 2026

Bayonne hosted the second edition of the Basque Country–Bordeaux Quantum Algorithms Meeting, a scientific gathering that brought together experts in the field of quantum computing

Held over the past few days, the event built on the momentum of its first edition, bringing together physicists, chemists, computer scientists, and mathematicians from across the Basque Country, Nouvelle-Aquitaine, and beyond. This multidisciplinary forum is thus consolidating its role as a key space for the exchange of knowledge on advances in quantum algorithms.

Throughout the event, participants discussed a wide range of research areas, including quantum algorithms for physics and chemistry, optimization techniques, quantum cryptography, error correction, and hybrid approaches combining quantum computing with high-performance computing (HPC).

The program featured high-level oral presentations and poster sessions showcasing cutting-edge research, helping to generate new ideas and foster future scientific collaborations.

The organizers highlighted the success of this second edition and expressed their gratitude to all speakers, contributors, and attendees, whose commitment was essential to the success of the meeting.
