Adolfo Morais

Adolfo Morais Ezquerro serves as the Vice Minister of Science and Innovation in the Basque Government.

With a rich academic background in computer science, mathematics, and education, he has held numerous key roles at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU), including Professor and Director of its School of Engineering.

His career also includes significant public service positions, such as Director General of Meteorology and Climatology and Director of International Cooperation and Mobility in the Basque Government. Morais has been instrumental in advancing educational and research policies, focusing on university development, scholarship management, and scientific and technological progress in the region.
