BasQ-IBM Road to Practitioner - 3rd Edition

BasQ launches the third edition of the Road to Practitioner Program (R2P) in collaboration with IBM from September to end of November.

The R2P Program is a theoretical–practical training initiative designed to help participants deepen and strengthen their knowledge of Quantum Computing and Qiskit programming. It combines conceptual learning with hands-on exercises and the development of a final Capstone Project.

Below is a summary of the main features:

Structure and duration:

  • Duration: approximately 3 months, from early September 2026 to the end of November 2026.
  • Structure: two phases, six modules in total, integrating theoretical sessions, practical exercises and a final Capstone Project.
  • Format: mainly online, with two mandatory in-person sessions (kick-off and closing).
  • Language: English.

Participation requirements:

Successful participation in the program requires a minimum technical background. Applicants are expected to demonstrate basic proficiency in Python programming and foundational theoretical knowledge of quantum computing. Further details on the specific prerequisites are available in the attached presentation.

Target participants:

This edition is open to university students and professors, researchers and industry professionals from across the BasQ ecosystem.

Confirmation of participation:

Each registration request will be individually evaluated to ensure that applicants meet the required prerequisites. Once a request is accepted, a confirmation email will be sent to the participant. This evaluation process may take several days, so we kindly ask for your patience.

Application deadline:

Please note that the registration period will remain open until Tuesday, 30th June 2026.

Important Information:

The program is free of charge, however, participants are expected to make a firm commitment to complete all program activities and actively engage in the weekly sessions.
