BasQ and IBM Conclude Second Edition of the Road to Practitioner (R2P) Program

Over the past three months, 70 participants have taken part in an intensive training journey designed to bridge theory and practice. Through a carefully structured curriculum, attendees gained expertise in key areas including quantum algorithms, quantum machine learning and quantum circuit design. The program also emphasized hands-on experience using Qiskit, alongside the development of Capstone Projects aimed at applying knowledge to real-world challenges.

This second edition builds on the success of our initial program and reinforces the importance of combining academic learning with practical application. As the field of quantum computing continues to evolve, initiatives like R2P play a critical role in addressing the growing demand for skilled professionals.

We are grateful for the contributions of our BasQ advocates, whose insights and expertise enriched the program, as well as the team at IBM and our partners who supported its delivery. Their collaboration has been instrumental in ensuring the program’s impact and quality.
