Resounding Success of the Qiskit Fall Fest 2025: The Quantum Community Shines at BasQ
November 07, 2025The Qiskit Fall Fest 2025 concluded with remarkable success after two exciting days that brought together more than 100 participants eager to learn, share, and explore the cutting-edge world of quantum computing and Qiskit.
The event, held under the umbrella of BasQ and the IBM Quantum, featured inspiring talks from Léna Pérennès and Juan Cruz-Benito of IBM Quantum, who shared insights on the latest advancements and opportunities within Qiskit.
The heart of the event was the Hackathon, fully designed and organized by the BasQ Advocates — Raúl Ignacio Guerrero Avilés, Álvaro Nodar Villa, Joaquim Jornet-Somoza, Ángel Rodríguez, and Jose Pascual — together with Benjamin Tirado. Their dedication created a collaborative environment that showcased talent and commitment of the growing quantum community.
